**Permanent Contract | £47,320 to £51,304 per annum (Scale L) | 37 hours per week | NorwichWe have a great opportunity available for a Technical Lead to take responsibility for the technical management and development of our social care and education systems (Liquidlogic, ContrOCC & Synergy).
Norfolk County Council is the main local authority for Norfolk providing services county wide to Norfolk residents.We take a lead in critical policy areas, and we work in partnership with local businesses, voluntary organisations and other local authorities to provide the people of Norfolk with excellent services.
This role sits within our Digital Services - Social Care & Education Systems team, who are responsible for the 24/7 operation and development of the business-critical systems our social care staff in Adult Social Services and Children's Services use to record their casework.
The team support social care finance systems, which we use to pay care providers over £300m annually and to bring £100m of income back to the local authority.
The remit also encompasses a range of portals that we provide so that Norfolk residents can interact with us about social care and schooling.

**Responsibilities
Provides technical leadership and operational management of social care and education systems team to achieve the required customer outcomes and performance standards.
- Establishes relationships and represents Digital Services with customers and suppliers.
- Ensures that the contracted technical solution(s) in place are monitored and delivered
- Manages the technical programme of work for the delivery of work to all customers.
- Commissions, plans and implements systems improvements and upgrades.
- Acts as Social Care & Education Systems team technical lead for procurement of new line of business systems. Manages an Application Support & Development Team.
Educated to degree/professional level in ICT or equivalent.
ITIL Foundation.
