Are you passionate about exploring the potential value of data in driving business growth and enhancing decision-making processes? We are seeking a skilled Post-doctoral Research Fellow to join our dynamic team and contribute to cutting-edge research in the data-driven economy.

As a Research Fellow, you will work under the guidance of Professor Pinar Ozcan and lead a research project focusing on large multinational organizations in highly regulated industries.

This research proposal aims to investigate the specific challenges and trade-offs faced by large multinational organizations in highly regulated industries and identify best practices in unlocking the business value from data.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct academic research in collaboration with Professor Pinar Ozcan, focusing on specific contexts and developing research questions.
  • Analyse complex qualitative and/or quantitative data from various sources and generate original ideas.
  • Implement new research methodologies and materials.
  • Produce research articles for premier peerreviewed journals in the field of strategy, management, and entrepreneurship.
  • Present research findings at international conferences and seminars to disseminate insights.
  • Write industry white papers to generate industry interest and inform best practices.
  • Organize and delegate work to team members, offering guidance on specialist methodologies where needed.
  • Support teaching activities with 96 teaching points, contributing primarily to entrepreneurship and innovation topics.
You must hold, or be close to completion of, a PhD/DPhil in Management with proven research and publication experience. As well as familiarity with existing literature and research in strategy and entrepreneurship. A Demonstrated ability to publish in premier management journals or advanced working papers is also essential.
