Description
The Strategic Partner works with law firms across England and Wales providing compliance guidance and support.

Experienced in property law and want a career in compliance?

We are looking to recruit 2 compliance officers to join our busy London compliance team.


Specific Objectives
2.


Register Management - Management of the Registers will include:

b. Encouraging firms to use the notification forms.

c.

Engage with firms and their fee earners to obtain the necessary information to move entries from the live register to the closed register.

d. Refer any complex matter to your manager or a director for guidance.

File Reviews and Audits - perform file reviews and firm audits as requested and directed (this will include both remote and onsite audits)

Firm Engagement - be aware of the firm and its interaction.

Send appropriate messages to the staff in the firm to ensure they are reporting appropriate matters and engaging with the services provided.

Time recording - You must time record as follows:

  • a. All client work you undertake using the time recording system against each client
b. Non-client work to be entered into the 'non-chargeable time code

Client Meetings - Invite each client to a 'catch up' meeting to discuss their monthly report. (some clients may opt for a quarterly meeting)

Training
a.
external - discuss and organise any training required by the Firms.

b.
Internal - identify and request your own training needs

Internal Reporting - Provide a weekly overview report to your line manager by no later than 5 pm each Friday outlining core activity in the week and focus for the next week.

Complaints - Zero complaints about the quality of your work

Accuracy - 100% accuracy on all of your work with a 100% audit pass rate.

Time management - Meet all deadlines provided to you and seek guidance/permission from your line manager if a deadline date will be missed and is to be adjusted.

13.


Newsletter - ensure all Compliance-related newsletters are issued to the firms allocated to you within 24 hours of posting onto the website.

14.
Guidance - Support colleagues as necessary and required.

Salary:
£33,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

  • London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
