Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Guest Service Agent to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming environment. This role involves handling guest enquiries, managing reservations, and delivering outstanding customer care to enhance the overall guest experience. Fluency in multiple languages and strong communication skills are highly desirable to cater to our diverse clientele.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide assistance throughout their stay
• Manage reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently using hotel management systems
• Handle guest enquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy
• Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to guests
• Address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary to ensure satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and preferences
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
• Uphold high standards of hospitality and uphold the hotel's reputation for excellent guest care

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential
• Strong communication skills with a professional phone etiquette
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly advantageous to serve diverse guests effectively
• Demonstrated guest services skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
• Organised with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of hotel management software is a plus but training will be provided
• A positive attitude, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for hospitality are essential for success in this role

Pay: £12.38 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• East London E1 1HJ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
