Finance Business Partner - UK Rebates & G&A
- Reporting to Associate Controller, UK.
- Based in Maidenhead, UK with 3/2 flexible working offered.

Role overview:
The Finance Business Partner for UK Rebates & G&A (General and Administrative expenses) reports directly to the Associate Controller.
This role involves ensuring accurate accruals and payments of customer rebates; as well as providing timely and precise finance information to support AbbVie UK's critical G&A functions to drive decision-making.
The role will collaborate closely with the Commercial Controlling team, Finance Business Partners, and Heads of Department within the Affiliate Leadership Team.
Key responsibilities:
Rebates
- Managing the monthly accrual of customer rebates, working closely with FP&A to ensure accurate net sales reporting.
- Managing the payment of customer rebates, ensuring that they are calculated correctly; whilst liaising with our rebate customers to resolve queries.
- Working closely with Brand Finance Business Partners, Commercial Controlling and Pricing to understand how current and future pricing agreements may impact rebates.
- Reconciliation and review of all Balance Sheet accounts related to customer and government rebates.
- Continual improvement of rebates processes looking for ways to drive efficiencies.
G&A
- Managing the General & Administrative Expenses (G&A e.g. Facilities, General Manager, IT and Finance cost centres), providing Finance Business Partner support to Division Heads.
- Managing the expense allocations process to ensure shared costs are reported within the appropriate divisions.
- Responsibility for Plan and LRP (Long Range Plan) cycle planning, and monthly forecasting of LBEs (Latest Best Estimate).
- Monthly accrual preparation for G&A cost centres and analysis of actuals vs benchmark.
- Providing support to procurement, for contract review and negotiation of large G&A contracts such as Fleet, Facilities management and Telecoms.
Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- ACCA, ACA, CIMA qualified or equivalent required, PQE (Postqualification experience) is desirable.
- Professional, accountable and collaborative team player.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills to build strong trust and relationships.
- Motivates and can influence others, including those over whom they have no direct authority.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced, high pressure and changing environment in an autonomous manner.
