Deputy School Office Manager - Southwark

Tradewind Recruitment are supporting a mainstream Secondary School in Southwark who are seeking to appoint a Deputy Office and Marketing Manager to their School Administration team.

This is a full time, long term position that will continue ASAP and run untilthe end of the calendar year in the first instance, with a view to become permanent thereafter.

This full time (52 week per year) position offers £13 - £16 per hour based on experience.

As the Deputy Office and Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Office & Marketing Manager and whole school academy and act as a central support role for staff, students and parents/carers.
  • Maintain and role model a positive 'can do' approach and ensure motivation and spirits are high within the team.
  • Work with other members of the Business Support Team to uphold the vision and ethos of the school at all times and provide an excellent customer service to a range of stakeholders.
  • Strive for operational excellence in the administrative service along with the wider team. It is a fastpaced job where no two days are the same.


This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to work closely with the Office & Marketing Manager to examine all admin functions and maximise capacity across the department whilst ensuring efficiencies across the administration department.

To join us and be successful in this Deputy Office and Marketing Manager position, you will:

  • Have experience of running effective administrative systems
  • Have experience within the education sector is desirable
  • Have experience of data entry into databases and other IT systems
  • Have excellent communication, writing and editing skills
  • Have excellent organisation and timemanagement skills with an ability to multitask and prioritising accordingly to meet all deadlines
  • Be able to complete an array of administrative duties
  • SIMS experience would be beneficial
  • Provide a CV with a minimum of 10 years employment/employment history included and any employment breaks must be explained
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
