Are you a Civil or Mechanical Engineer with UK Water experience? Looking for a new challenge in a progressive environment?
Highfield Professional Solutions are working closely with a well-respected and award-winning business in the South who are looking for an experienced Engineer to join their team as a BIM Engineer.
You will get the chance to play a key role in expanding and developing the client's BIM capability in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
The role:
- Delivery of digital models and drawings on water and wastewater treatment sites.
- Advanced use of Revit and AutoCAD to create, audit and review designs and thirdparty information.
- Managing Point Cloud and other survey information from third party surveyors
- Liaising with designers, consultants and suppliers to enable project coordination.
- Providing input for key design and deliverables.
- Input into model and drawing procedures
- Manage / Update BIM Project Documents
- 3D Model Quantity Extraction / Verification
- Organized, detailoriented, hardworking and have the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Degree/HND in Civil, Mechanical or Structural Engineering
- Experience adopting to design changes and new technologies.
- Experience conducting design review and coordination meetings.
- Knowledge of industry standards including CDM & design risks and the ability to translate to CAD.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidiscipline and diverse team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
