    Global Professional Services Company Seeks Investigations Lead

    A 7-8 months' contract role, the Investigations Lead will conduct and oversee corporate compliance investigations arising from alleged misconduct reported through various channels.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with senior leadership to assess and mitigate significant legal risks associated with investigations.
    • Manage investigative teams addressing reported allegations, including notification, recording, and reporting processes.

    Investigation Oversight

    • Lead internal and external resources in conducting complex allegations of misconduct related to financial and regulatory matters.
    • Define scope, develop investigative plans, notify relevant personnel, conduct interviews, and compile investigation status reports.
    • Recommend and implement remedial measures to address findings.

    Team Management and Strategy

    • Exercise oversight and management of the investigation team to ensure effective review, assignment, and investigation of matters.
    • Develop processes for identifying and reporting trends, providing updates on investigation data, and making strategic decisions impacting the Corporate Investigations group.
    • Implement global strategy set by the Global Director of Corporate Investigations.

    Qualifications

    • Qualified lawyer required.
    • Minimum 7 years' experience conducting and supervising investigations, including:
      • conducting Code of Business Ethics/financial fraud investigations;
      • dealing with regulatory and governmental investigations;
      • drafting confidential legal reports, advising senior leadership on ethical conduct/compliance-related risks, and recommending personnel-related remedial action;
      • conducting associated litigation and/or employment litigation.
