An exciting opportunity to join Boeing Defence UK.

This is a role within the BDUK Quality Team and is the administrator for the management of all local policies and procedures.

This is a new role to support the rapidly growing Quality Team across all BDUK sites.


This is a part-time role that can be either hybrid or virtual to support the Boeing Defence United Kingdom (BDUK) Quality Department with administrative support of quality systems, documentation administration and additional tasks as advised by the BDUK Quality Managers (QM) or the Information Logistics Management (ILM) Lead.


Principal Tasks

The principle tasks for this role are:

Documentation Management - Act as the documentation administrator for BDUK to conduct the following:

  • Manage the documentation group box for requests for changes to the local procedures.
  • Publish new and updated local procedures within the BDUK document management system.
  • Archive procedures where a request to cancel has been received.
  • Review and publish documents that are coming up to their review due date.
  • Raise Document control numbers for evidence of all changes to documents.
  • Assist the ILM Lead with Information Logistics Management Administration across the organisation.
  • Develop, maintain and share metrics relating to internal procedures.
  • Act as the documents management system Administrator for the documentations' module in the documents management system.

Information Logistics Management Assistant -Responsible for assisting the ILM lead and to also support any non-conformance raised with regards to the document management system.


Secondary Tasks

Process reviews / updates - To assist in the generation, review and update of processes relating to the quality department.


Non-Conformance Management - Assist with the management of non-conformances raised against areas within your responsibility. Identify root causes and corrective and preventive action for all non-conformances raised against the document management system and report progress at the Corrective Action, Preventive Action (CAPA) board.


Additional Activities

Continuous Improvement - find opportunities for improvement within existing conditions and processes through the review of metrics, data and performance measures and assist in the implementation of solutions.
