ABOUT US:Aqua Gas Manufacturing Limited is part of the AVK Group; who are market leaders in the design, manufacture and supply of valves, pipe fittings, hydrants and flow control equipment to the Water, Waste Water, Oil and Gas industries throughout the world.

We are currently on a recruitment drive for an experienced Production Operative to join our team in Corby on a permanent basis.

As part of the team, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced production professional looking for a varied role that offers that little bit more in an engineering / manufacturing environment.

You will assist in the safe and efficient production, storage and dispatch of our products whilst carrying out the necessary quality checks and ensuring our health and safety standards are met.

You will feel the ownership of your work from the beginning, be given exciting assignments, lead initiatives, and take ownership and responsibility


ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Packing finished products
• Cleaning and maintaining workstation / areas and machinery
• Ensure that quality standards for finished products are met
• Products are packed in line with the required specification
• Monitor the production process and carry out quality checks
• Adjust / monitor machine performance; changeovers, clean downs and machine changes
• Assisting with the fulfilment of production orders
• Assist in maintaining the efficient operation of the manufacturing area

ABOUT YOU:

• Previous experience of a fastpaced production / engineering / manufacturing environment
• IT literate with a working knowledge of ERP systems for inventory management
• Excellent communication skills, a flexible approach with a team focus and cando attitude
• An ability to take charge of a situation and use your own initiative
• Sound understanding of safety procedures and practises
• A good level of fitness is required to carry out the lifting and carrying involved in moving stock

WORKING HOURS:

Double Days Monday-Friday rotating shifts
