At our plant in Glenrothes (Scotland), we design, develop and produce radial piston motors working in partnership with world renowned international OEM's in industries such as material handling, construction and forestry machinery.


Job Description:

Our trainee programme as a "_Technical Functions Graduate_" is your career start in an internationally successful company.

In 18-24 months, you will pass through specialist departments in our plant in Glenrothes and abroad that are individually tailored to you.


What can you expect?

  • You will acquire an indepth insight and understanding of the Technical Functions (TEF) within Bosch Rexroth with the possibility of being placed in various areas within the Manufacturing environment. This can include Manufacturing Engineering Support (MFE), Manufacturing Operations (MFO), Manufacturing Coordination (MFC) & Business Digital Organisation (BDO).
  • You will support the Creation and Definition of the Glenrothes Digital Strategy as well as derivation of the Glenrothes Digital Roadmap.
  • You will be in the lead of focus projects to implement the requirements of the digital strategy.
  • You will quickly take on responsibilities and get to know all facets of your field in projects as well as in daytoday business.
  • You will benefit from the comprehensive support of an experienced mentor and experts from specialist departments through regular feedback.
  • You will build up a comprehensive network within the company, from which you will benefit in the long term.
  • You can set individual priorities within the program and thus actively shape your future.
  • You have the option of completing one of your training stations abroad.

Qualifications:


What are we looking for?


In the Graduate Specialist Programme (GSP), you are in good hands as a technical ace with a soft spot for manufacturing technology.

You are keen about solutions relating to lean manufacturing, digitalisation, and automatisation. In addition, you are also interested in entrepreneurial relationships. You enjoy inspiring other people.

Education: You have completed your Master's in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering or comparable with above-average results. Your focus is on topics such as lean production, quality management, automation, digitalisation, data analytics and artificial intelligence. Perhaps you have already acquired a PhD or initial professional experience.

Experience and know-how: You bring international experience and have gained practical experience through relevant industrial internships, preferably in medium-sized companies or start-ups. Ideally you have gained first knowledge in the implementation of I 4.0 projects in manufacturing.

Soft skills:You see courage, openness, tolerance, and mindfulness as desirable attitudes. You are open-minded, confident in appearance and strong in communication and assertiveness.

Mobility: Willingness to travel at home and abroad

Additional Information

You will be reporting to the Head of Operations and would be required to work 37 hours per week. This is a permanent position, and you would initially be a trainee for a period of 18-24 months. You would be on a rotation and would involve working at a different location.


_ You will be required to evidence your right to work in the UK, as we are unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. International applicants would not be provided with a Skilled Worker visa for this role and will only be able to take up this role if they can demonstrate an alternative right to work in the UK._
