Description

Night Security Officer

This role will be located at a static homeless accommodation based in the Aston area of Birmingham.

Responsibilities:

Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a secure and safe environment
Protect the company's assets and property against theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities
Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activities or breaches in security
Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
Conduct regular inspections of access points, doors, and windows to ensure they are properly secured
Provide assistance and support to employees and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of securityrelated incidents

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a Security Officer or similar role
Knowledge of security protocols and procedures
Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
High school diploma or equivalent

Note:
Experience of working within the vulnerable homeless field is preferred but not essential,

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 27.5 per week

Salary:
From £10.50 per hour
