We are looking for a Quality and Coordination Lead to join our growing team.

This role ensures the safe and effective delivery of our care services.

This involves ensuring that the quality systems and processes are in place and monitored effectively and that the allocation of care calls meets the needs of our customers and staff to ensure safe, effective, personalised and responsive care service delivery.

This role will lead a small team of administrators and co-ordinators to enable more people to remain independent and receive quality care in their own home.


  • Working in a high pressure environment
  • Managing records and audits
  • Designing and improving processes
  • Experience of working within safeguarding protocols
  • Working knowledge of relevant legislation in care practice
  • Managing and mitigating risk
  • Managing people
  • Experience of managing rotas
  • Coordinating rotas of 1500 hours per week using an electronic scheduling system such as Carefree
  • Experience of planning and participating in an oncall rota
  • Experience of delivering care and support

Skills, Knowledge & Aptitudes

Ability to plan and prioritise workloads

Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and provide information to people with diverse support needs and abilities

Able to deal empathetically with distressed or anxious customers and staff tactfully

Strong understanding of the social model of disability and willing to promote its ethos and principles

Knowledge of person-centered approaches


Other
Willing to undertake further training relevant to the post

Willingness to work flexibly to meet the needs of the organisation and its users

Well presented with a professional manner
