The Supplier Management& Procurement (SM&P) team plays a key commercial role in TUI Airline, optimising value in all aviation contracts.

As a Contract Life Cycle Management specialist you will mainly follow up that contractual requirements are fulfilled and follow up on contractualcompliance risks.


In this role, you'll report directly into the Commercial Performance & Development Manager, and have a business partner role to a head-of Supplier Management & Procurement.

ABOUT THE JOB:


  • As Contract Life Cycle Management Specialist, you will:
  • Familiarize yourself with supplier contracts, including important contract dates, and clauses
  • Inform and draft contract notifications
  • Inform of important upcoming contract dates, or (upcoming) triggers in contract clauses to stakeholders
  • Gather and report relevant KPI data relating to TUI's performance via standard reports and structured regular meetings
  • Gather and report relevant financial KPI data relating to risk of TUI triggering contractual clauses (payment behavior, etc) and report risks or potential risks
  • Provide coordination for actions defined between suppliers, commercial and operational stakeholders by drafting meeting minutes, and other relevant means
  • Bring together TUI's contract performance with supplier's contract performance
  • Coordinate and assist with meeting briefing preparation for senior management meetings
  • Follow up on compliance risks
  • You will be required to undertake business travel, both for internal purposes and for supplier visits/meetings.
  • You will be able to work from home when not needed in the office or required to travel; the mantra is very much that work is something you do, not somewhere you go.

ABOUT YOU - A relevant graduate degree, CIPS qualification or equivalent by experience. Master's degree is desirable Prior experience in a similar role.

  • Highly proficient in English, knowledge of other languages desirable but not essential.
  • Experience with procurement is desired.
  • Experience managing projects, planning delivery and coordinating the inputs from different stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
  • A commercial mindset, continually evaluating the costs and benefits of a decision.
  • Strong numeric, analytical and problemsolving skills with eye for detail.
  • Good working knowledge of contractual legal terms and conditions.
  • Effective communication and reporting skills, able to tailor messaging for different stakeholders.
  • An awareness of cultural differences, able to manage the complexity and ambiguity resulting from multiple stakeholders of differing sizes and based in different countries.
  • Able to easily develop a strong network of contacts throughout the business and industry, gaining the support of key players to key projects. A 'cando' attitude, work resultoriented and take initiativ
