The Role

Calderdale council considers children who are at risk of or are being exploited as the most vulnerable children and an established Child Exploataition multi-agency hub is in place to prevent children and young people from being groomed and exploited.


To support the hub we are recruiting 2 child exploitation project worker to ensure that children, who are at risk or affected by exploitation receive the appropriate support to meet their needs.

The role provides intensive 1-1 support for a number of children in a multi-agency setting of Police and Children's Social Care alongside other relevant partner agencies.


You would be expected to attend the CE meetings and provide updates on cases you are allocated as well as contribute to the decision making of young people.


There is also a role to undertake group work, sessions with children in a variety of settings and training for professionals promoting issues and awareness around CE.
