**Learning Support Assistant

Responsibilities:


  • Work 11 with pupils who need extra support with their learning
  • Be patient and empathetic, but also resilient and able to deal with unexpected behaviour
  • Be able to support the teacher in planning lessons if needed
  • Understand the pupils needs and how these differ from one pupil to another
  • Be calm and able to get along with each pupil so that you understand how they need to be supported
  • Able to react and deal with unexpected behaviour in an appropriate and effective manner

Requirements:


  • Ideally have previous experience working within a SEN school setting.
  • Successful applicants will need an enhanced child and adult DBS, if you do not currently have one, we can support you in getting one
