£80,000 - £95,000

LONDON

Are you looking for an opportunity to work on one of the UK's largest data migration projects? This is a great chance for showcasing your knowledge and expertise by working on this challenging project and leading an experienced technical team.

THE COMPANY
This company is one of the UK's biggest travel companies and has offices based North-West of London.

They have continued to expand but as they aim to now move all of their high-quality data into one secure platform the data team here is quickly becominga focus of the company.

The teams you will be leading host Senior and Mid-level Data Engineers all with plenty of experience and they have helped to build an extremely competitive and collaborative culture within the company.

THE ROLE
During this role you can expect to be doing the following:

Leading teams in either the Marketing, Operations, or Corporate sides of the company
Being flexible within these and occasionally working in the other teams
Occasionally writing code
Assisting with the migration of data from legacy systems into AWS
Challenging and coaching teams of Data Engineers

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
A successful Tech Lead here will have experience in the following:

Working with cloud platforms
Code with Python and test following CI/CD best practices
Good knowledge of Machine Learning
Exposure to using Databricks and Spark
Experience with managing and leading teams
