HOURS AVAILABLE:
24 hours per week




REPORTING TO:
Registered Manager/Deputy Manager

ROLE:

To be responsible to the Registered Manager/Deputy Manager and work under their direction.

To work alongside and co-operate with other members of the team for the well-being of the service users within the home.

This position requires working to the highest standard of cleanliness as laid down in the homes policies. This involves a complete cleaning service to all rooms, bathrooms, offices and corridors. During this process special consideration should be given to maintaining the comfort and well-being of the service user.


Ensure sensible and correct use of cleaning materials and equipment in order to promote 'Health and Safety at Work' and maintain COSHH regulations.

Be thoroughly acquainted with the position of fire extinguishers and break glass points. Be aware of all fire procedures, precautions and drills.

Participate in appropriate training and staff development courses.

Perform any other duties as directed by Supervising Housekeeper.


Salary:
£9.50 per hour
