Role Summary and Personal Attributes required;
As HSE Administrator, you are responsible for ensuring all documentation is updated and stored correctly within our Safety & Environmental Management Systems.
To prosper in this role, you must be able to build exceptional working relationships across all levels whilst demonstrating a consistent and methodical approach to your workload.
Responsibilities and Duties
To support Roberts Mart to deliver the company HSE Strategy:
Environmental Duties:- Verify and monitor relevant Waste Carrier Licences, waste tickets, waste codes and liability insurances
- Centralise all current reporting lines for waste
- Maintain the Environmental Management Systems for the entire business
- Assist with assigned internal & external audits
Safety Duties:
- Review, document & monitor risk assessments for the entire business (training will be given) (e.g. PUWER, COSHH & task based)
- Ensure relevant people are included within the risk assessment process identifying hazards, changing or finding safe ways of mitigating risks
- Maintain the Approved Contractor Register
- Maintain the COSHH Register
- Maintain the Safety Management Systems
- Assist with employee H&S Inductions
- Promote near miss reporting and awareness
- Assist with assigned internal and external audits
- Any other duties which may be required by management from time to time
General Duties:
- Work in conjunction with Technical, Quality, Training, Production & Warehouse departments to assist with safety & environmental content of standard operating procedures
- Assist with general administration tasks
Skills, Capabilities and Attributes
Environmental
- Possess or working towards a recognised environmental qualification such as IEMA foundation level
Safety
- Possess or working towards a recognised Health & Safety qualification such as NEBOSH and/ or including risk assessing
General
- Project management skills

- Strong administrative and processing skills

£18,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
