  • Trident Housing, which provides landlord services for the Group in respect of housing management and maintenance
  • Trident Reach, which is a registered care and support charity providing services to those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and those who have been victims of domestic abuse across all age groups across the Midlands.

About the role


We are looking to recruit a compassionate staff member to join our team to support people with learning disabilities and other complex needs.


Coriander Close, Birmingham is a registered care home for adults with learning and/or physical disabilities, who require support for all aspects of their daily living needs, including personal care, meal preparation, shopping and social activities.


The aim of the role is to deliver an outstanding service which is person centred in a way that enhances the lives of people with profound learning disabilities offering choice, ensuring the people have a voice and their wishes and decisions are respected.

The role will include aspects of personal care, cleaning, cooking, record keeping and supporting people with health and welling issues including attending health appointments as specified in the job description.


Hours
Our home is 24/7 where we use a rota system to ensure customers get the care they need.

As a Social Care Worker, you will be required to work a shift rota system that includes working some weekends and bank holidays.


Shifts include:
Morning 7:00am - 2:30pm, Afternoon 2:00pm - 9:30pm including sleep-ins.


About you


Punctuality and reliability are essential to meet the requirements of the role, the shifts are early mornings, late finishes, weekend working and waking nights.

You may be required to work the occasional night shift when the service is needed
