The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join My Little Explorers setting as a Level 5 Early years Lead Practitioner Apprentice - Trainee Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to progress in your Childcare career as a Level 5 Early years Lead Practitioner, working towards a managerial role at My Little Explorers Nursery, within a friendly team in the heart of Hampshire, Romsey,

My little Explorers has an outdoor element, no rooms, open child initiated forest school ethos and child led.

They cater for children aged 0-5 on outdoors activities, mud kitchen, storytelling, food preparation with the children, walking, working with tools, building dens, arts and crafts, physical play, climbing, den, bug hunting - inclusively an outdoors delivery of learning.


My Little Explorers' Forest School kindergarten and nursery settings is where children are inspired in a natural environment through positive experiences.


Roles and responsibilities:


  • Deliver high standard learning and development
  • Supporting day to day nursery tasks and deliver quality care
  • Nappy changing and toileting
  • Reading and outdoors learning
  • Playing and walking
  • Set up the day's activities
  • Manage on site and support staff
  • Cover all managers' duties including supervisions this is to be further discussed with the owner.

Requirements:


  • You must be able to gain a clear DBS
  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare
