**Interpretation Developer

Based at Slimbridge, London or Martin Mere with opportunities for hybrid working
37.5 Hours per week (30 hours or other part time options considered)
£31,512 per annum (FTE)**
The Role


As our Interpretation Developer you will work directly with the Head of Interpretation & Programming and play a critical role in supporting the development of excellent visitor experiences across all our 10 UK sites.


Working as part of the central team you will plan, co-ordinate and work with sites, other central colleagues and external contractors to deliver programmes of work and projects, which will raise the standards of presentation, interpretation and programming.

Your work will bring to life the stories of WWTs work both in the UK and around the world.


About You

To join as our Interpretation Developer you'll:

  • Bring creativity, innovation and flair with the skills to create a diverse range of interpretation.
  • Have experience of contemporary interpretation techniques, bringing best practice from concept and design to production and installation, using sustainable materials.
  • Be a visitor champion, developing multi layered interpretation for a diverse range of audiences.
  • Have great influencing and communication skills so you can confidently advise and support our site teams to deliver excellence both in their everyday work and in projects.
  • Have worked with clients to respond to creative briefs and commissioned external creatives to do the same.
For this role we can offer flexibility around working from home.

It is expected the role will need to work from site 2 times a week and as required for key meetings.
