The Governors of Lytham Hall Park Primary School are seeking to appoint a Welfare Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team.

Lytham Hall Park is a happy and busy community primary school currently catering for over 400 children between the ages of four and eleven years.

We are a popular, school with beautiful grounds which we use regularly.
As a Welfare Assistant, you will join our team supervising the children across the lunch time period.

You will be required to supervise children into the dining hall, during the lunchtime service and in the playground organising play and supervising activities and games for children.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday (5 days a week). 1 hour 10 mins daily. Term time only.

The successful applicant will be expected to support the caring and family ethos of the school.

Essential Experience

  • Ability to relate well to children
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of the concept of confidentiality
Flexible attitude to workDesirable Experience

  • Experience of working with children in a role with similar supervisory duties. This could be through previous voluntary or paid work
