Description
As a Transport Coordinator for Maze Logistics Solutions, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient transportation of containers by executing the operational plan and organising the movement of the resource.
You will collaborate with various departments within the organisation, including planning, operations, customer services, finance and management to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of containers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and maintain the operational plan to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers while optimising resource utilisation and minimising costs.
- Dispatch resource based on the operational plan and customer requirements.
- Monitor the movement of the resource and containers to ensure compliance with regulations and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with drivers, dispatchers, and other personnel to ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods.
- Identify potential problems and provide solutions to minimise delays and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of resource movements, containers, and driver activities.
- Collaborate with the planning, resource and customer service teams to ensure adequate resources are available to meet transportation demands.
- Continuously evaluate and improve transportation processes to ensure costeffectiveness and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to provide timely and accurate information regarding transportation activities.
- Maintain awareness of transportation trends that may impact the organisation.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Transport / Logistics coordinator (desirable).
- Good IT skills; MS Word, MS Outlook & MS Excel, and using the internet.
- Good CRM / Database experience.
- High level of written and oral English.
- High degree of customer service skills with excellent telephone manner.
- Very good attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment.
- Microsoft Office Applications experience.
- Experience in the Supply Chain industry desired but not essential.

Up to £25,000.00 per year
