Supply Chain Administrator

Chester (contract - view to go permanent)

£25,000 - £28,000 (Hybrid working)

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Supply chain Administrator to Join a well-established client of ours. The purpose of the role will be managing key clients in relation to sales orders ensuring alignment with customer demands andcapacity plans.

We are looking for a confident and highly organised individual who is used to working in fast pace and challenging environment.You will be also responsible for the demand analysis, driving process improvements and building strong relationships with key customers and internal departments. (sales, logistics and production)


The main duties and responsibilities Include.

  • Process customer forecasts plans using MS Excel
  • Managing and build relationships with key clients.
  • Responsible for creating shortage lists for orders and identify material shortages and finding a resolution.
  • Master Data activity completing part setup and management of customer category lists.
  • Manage clear stocks to ensure there is no obsolete stock.
  • Resolve Order shortfalls by consultation with, Supply Demand management team and Sales Account Managers
  • Create customer ATM models.
  • Leading weekly/monthly/quarterly demand review meetings with customers
  • Driving process Improvements with internal departments and key customers.
- system maintenance ensuring data is updated accurately.

  • Responsible to generate Sales reports, Stock reports for the management teams and customers.
  • Recording all incoming bulk and daily customer call offs) and entering these in automated systems
  • Create Stock Transport orders (STO's) for relevant customer deliveries.
  • Create returns orders for finished goods returns.
  • Verifies packaging stock at customers' sites and arranges returns.
  • Working closely with the logistics team and monitor ontime delivery performance for all orders raised.
  • Import orders as required across Europe and UK customers
  • Knowledge on this would be ideal.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient in MS Office Word/ Excel / PowerPoint.
  • Good working knowledge of SAP. (Not essential as training offered)
  • Experience as job related experience within a fast speed, high volume environment is desirable.
  • Process customer forecasts and analyse demand.
  • Used to working within a fast paced, high volume manufacturing environment is desirable.
  • Evidence of selfmotivation, an ability to use your own initiative and attention to detail is essential.
