*Join us today and you will be eligible for a sign-on and retention bonus of £3,000*We live in a world that needs to take care of its resources, and our mission at Veolia is to 'Resource the World'. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HGV Technician to join our team in Dewsbury.

At our Dewsbury workshop we have 3 experienced engineers. We maintain the Dewsbury commercial fleet as well as the Beighton commercial FEL fleet with a 40+ Fleet size. The variety of vehicles vary from RCV/FEL to 32T Hook loaders. You will be working on everything on the vehicle including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic & electrical systems.

*What will you be doing?

  • Responsible for the day to day service and repairs of our Heavy Goods Vehicles.
  • Keep our HGVs safely on the road so our streetside operatives can carry out their duties for our hundreds of customers.
  • Carrying out routine vehicle inspections, routine maintenance, MOT preps, fault finding
- and repairs to ensure our fleet is reliable, available and safe.

*What are we looking for?

  • NVQ Level 3 vehicle qualification
  • Experience of working on HGV vehicles
  • Experience of waste management desirable
  • HGV Licence desirable
