Business Analyst
Location:
Hybrid (Hubs in Oxford & Bristol)
The Role
Do you have experience in reinsurance or specialty insurance markets with an astute understanding of software development and software projects? We are looking for a Business Analyst, experienced in enabling business transformation within financial institutions.
You'll lead workshops, interviews, focus groups and utilise other techniques to effectively translate research data into detailed requirements to help deliver successful projects for our Clients.
Combining strong organisation skills and stakeholder management, this role is key to our Client engagement and success.You will be joining a friendly and professional team with offices based in both Oxford and Bristol.
Rquired Skills
- Proven record as a Business Analyst
- A strong understanding of Modelling and Pricing in reinsurance or specialty insurance
- Hands on Data Analysis and data management tool experience
- Experience with transformation programs in major bank/financial services, re/insurance or speciality insurance markets
- Experience with software development and software projects
- Experience gathering requirements and translating the needs of Clients into plans Working with and influencing 3rd parties

To be successful in the role:
You must be able to deep dive into the detail of a Client's workflows and processes, mapping that onto a complex product.
Additionally you'll need to understand and document the data flows and structure.Alongside this you will be able to build strong relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and be able to present ideas and concepts when required; work is delivered in collaboration with teams across the business and the Client.
You will understand the benefit of an appropriate mix of epics, features & stories for each project, as well as contributing towards prioritisation activities.
