Do you enjoy analysing and interpreting qualitative and quantitative performance information? We are currently looking for a Quality Support Officer to join our team.


As Quality Support Officer you will work as part of a dedicated team who produce performance monitoring reports and insight and analysis to support the Council's Directorates in managing their performance and understanding the key issues impacting on Solihull's population and its neighbourhood.


In this interesting and varied role you will:

  • Analyse various types of data and information and produce accurate performance monitoring and insights and analysis reports in a range of formats.
  • Support the development and maintenance of forward plans to organise and coordinate activities in line with the Council's Performance Framework.
  • Gather, store, monitor and organise information, both qualitative and quantitative, from a range of sources.
  • Draft reports and documents showing key issues impacting on the Solihull population and individual neighbourhoods;
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.

You will have:

  • Level 3 qualification (e.g. Alevels, OND, NVQ3 etc) OR be able to demonstrate relevant experience and knowledge in a business or local government environment to carry out the full range of duties.
  • Experience of analysing and interpreting qualitative and quantitative performance information.
  • Experience of working in a team, demonstrating flexibility and contribution to team effectiveness.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • The ability to use of ICT to interpret and present complex data and information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
