As a result of this change, we are seeking a People Business Partner to take the lead in transforming our people practices.

Reporting into the People, Brand & Culture Director, the People Business Partner will create a dynamic, responsive, and efficient people environment that aligns with contemporary business practices and technology advancements, as we prepare for the future of work.

Your efforts will help us stay ahead in this fast-evolving business world.

We are seeking a dynamic individual who is eager to make a significant impact within the organisation.

The role involves working closely with business leaders and line managers to identify people priorities, develop strategic people plans, and facilitate the implementation of organisation-wide people initiatives.

You will be the 'go to' person for all things people-related in the business.

What you'll do:


  • Partner with leadership team to shape our people strategy, collaborating closely with managers across the spectrum.
  • Lead strategic HR transformation, including evaluating and upgrading legacy systems, and designing modern people practices that leverage the latest technologies to boost productivity and employee engagement.
  • Lead the implementation of a digital HR system, managing the selection process, project timelines, budget, and training, ensuring a seamless transition and ongoing support for optimal system use.
  • Engage key stakeholders to unpack and address peoplerelated challenges.
  • Leverage data and insights to pinpoint priorities and prepare for future workforce dynamics.
  • Offer expert guidance on pivotal HR practices
  • Lead and mentor a small team, fostering professional growth and driving collective success within the people department.
  • Deliver constructive feedback to stakeholders and supportively coach them to improve people practices that will boost business performance and efficiency.


Across the employee lifecycle, your key responsibilities will be to work collaboratively with our in-house recruitment team, guiding the attraction, onboarding, and integration of top talent, developing initiatives for employee growth and retention, and managing the offboarding process to ensure continuous improvement and leadership in our people practices.

This is a hands-on role.


We're looking for someone who:


  • Has a solid track record of people management and leadership in HR
  • Can provide best practice advice using up to date knowledge of modern people practices and UK employment law, ready to provide comprehensive support.
  • Thrives in a fastpaced, agile environment and loves making things better.
  • Is adept at implementing techsavvy people management systems tailored to what is needed.
  • Takes a balanced and values led approach when managing employee relations

Skills and experience:


  • A minimum of 3 years at HRBP level, preferably in a high performing organisation.
  • Operating at CIPD Chartered level or equivalent
  • Influential and assertive, equipped to deliver immediate impact.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all HR functions, ensuring a wellrounded service offering to the business.
  • Agile and dynamic work ethic complemented by a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Skilled in deploying digitally enabled people management systems, with a strong capability to design tailored solutions to meet specific organisational needs and requirements.
  • Indepth understanding of employment laws, regulations, and practices, combined with a solid track record in managing employee relations cases.

Working Hours/Arrangements:

Standard working hours are 35.25 hours per week. This position is for a full-time permanent contract.
