We are looking for an effective Marketing Executive with a Social Media focus to join our Marketing Team to manage all aspects of our social media channels for our network of retail travel agency stores in the UK & Ireland
:


Based in Glasgow city centre, the role exists to build a loyal and engaged community online while driving awareness, consideration, sales, loyalty and advocacy for Stewart Travel, our retail travel agency chain, and to provide support to other group brand marketing teams as required.


The main role of this position is to develop and implement a strategy across all social media platforms to increase customer following and engagement.


The individual will be responsible for all creative content and posts as well as interacting with customers and responding to followers.


  • To develop and implement social media strategies throughout the year across all platforms
  • Manage & develop a social media marketing plan for
  • Create and maintain engaging content across all brand campaigns, to suit each social channel
  • Administer the customer facing side of all social activity
  • Manage the daytoday handling of all social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn
  • Respond to customer posts in a timely manner, with a professional tone, within preagreed parameters
  • Manage all paid search and ranking campaigns
  • Analyse performance across all platforms and report to management on findings and any suggestions to improve performance
  • Building content calendars that ensure the right content is pushed out through the right channels and at the right time
  • Analyse performance against competitors
  • Keep uptodate with the latest trends and technologies surrounding social media, and make recommendations on areas of improvement
  • Analysing the success of marketing campaigns and presenting to management on a regular basis
  • Help drive awareness of the company and the brands they offer through all social channels and identifying potential opportunities.

Experience / Skills Required

  • Graduate status preferred, although experience in a marketing position will be considered.
  • Ideally 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • An advanced understanding of all B2C social media platforms and be able to deliver on all types of creative content (images, videos, gifs, webinars, sales collateral etc.)
  • Be able to provide examples of an exposure to all levels of marketing
  • An ability to multitask and manage multiple tasks/projects at one time, work to a plan and work in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong copywriting skills and the ability to turn the technical into compelling concepts, stories, and assets
  • An excellent communicator with strong verbal and written skills
  • Being able to work efficiently and to deadlines stated.
