Description

To prepare the Ambulance Service NHS Trust's ambulances, rapid response cars and patient transport vehicles to an approved standard, this includes the cleaning of such vehicles to an infection control standard.

To test all medical equipment deployed on the Trust's vehicles to ensure such equipment is fit for purpose and in working order, to replace all used or broken Make Ready packs and to replace the response bags with repacked and ready to use sealed bags.

To repack drugs packs in accordance with the Trust's guidelines and to record the issue of all POM's drugs in the drugs register and all other duties defined in the Make Ready Training manual.

To recognise their role within the overall teamandto assist the team in achieving its overall objectives and Trust's expectations.
