The clinical fellow would be supported with their carrier progression.

There will be supported to develop the practical skills including basic and advanced bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound, interventional bronchoscopy, pleural procedures.

Their job role will include inpatient and outpatient commitments, and supporting the consultant clinics. There is a weakly lung cancer multidisciplinary team meeting, and a thoracic surgical MDT. There is plentiful opportunity to progress and we would welcome our clinical fellows to progress over time and join our department as a specialty doctor


The post holder would have some responsibility for the CMT/FY2/FY1 doctors and would report to the consultant of the week in the respiratory ward, participate in the acute medical oncall and would be given a structured weekly rota which puts emphasis on the training needs of the posts with attendance in bronchoscopy and outpatient clinics.

There will be a protected time during the week for doing audits/clinical research
