Your New Role


An integral member of the UK&I Market group leadership functions; part of the EMEA region and the largest market in the International division, you will help design and implement People and OD strategies aimed at ensuring a best-in-class partnership for your clients.

Connecting and collaborating with US & EMEA P&C colleagues as relevant to ensure a joined-up approach to people matters.

Collaborating with business leaders through a period of post-merger change and partnering them to advise, coach and guide them to a new effective operating model while maintaining employee engagement.

Responsible for driving positive change as part of ongoing post-merger cultural development within the newly formed WBD teams, encouraging and enabling a progressive approach to engagement and delivery.

Working closely with the leadership team members, UK P&C team and the DE&I teams, you will help embed a culture that promotes Diversity, Equality and Inclusion.


Your Role Accountabilities

  • Be a trusted and strategic partner to the executives on the senior leadership team partnering with them on all people related matters.
  • Develop close working relationships and understanding of business goals and facilitate people and organisational solutions to support the business effectively.
  • Partner with leaders on organisational changes, ensuring we are legally compliant and act as a true partner; questioning, constructively challenging and advising.
  • Proactively and positively support initiatives and organisation changes to align with the wider WBD business, including local changes to align with the global vision for the future success of the business.
  • Partner with the Specialist P&C CoE teams to provide relevant and value adding proactive support and solutions for the business.
  • Support the development of a bestinclass P&C team by analysing processes as we live them provide feedback to CoE teams where needed to constantly improve our operating model.
  • Know your Top Talent across your client groups. Facilitate calibration sessions, conversations, development opportunities and retention strategies for our Talent on an ongoing basis.
  • Lead or partner (as applicable) on P&C related projects and support the roll out of annual global P&C initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience...

  • Demonstrate prior experience of business partnering up to senior executive level in a fastpaced, high change, matrix environment.
  • Commercial awareness curious about the business areas you support (and the wider business) to maximise your influence.
  • Collaborative able to partner with centres of excellence to develop and implement initiatives that develop capability and culture.
  • Able to make sound and prompt decisions as well as connect the dots between different functions to challenge assumptions and improve efficiency and effectiveness for the business.
  • Able to lead projects and change programmes within your client groups and wider as required.
  • Must be able to exercise a level of independent judgement and make sound decisions that enhance business performance, often with little direction while ensuring you comply with laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrate the capability to selfprioritize and manage a complex and changing workload with the ability to meet changing and varying deadlines.
  • Able to flex between strategic work and a handson approach as needed.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Agile and able to flex between input to strategic topics and delivering operationally as needed.
  • Experience of leading and coaching a small team is desirable.
