Description

The post holder will be responsible for managing their own research and administrative activities, including the collection of data for the project, and project management, to co-ordinate multiple aspects of work to meet deadlines.

They will analyse existing formal and informal doctoral admissions structures and practices in Oxford and Cambridge through a range of qualitative and quantitative approaches, including interviews with key stakeholders, analysis of admissions data, developing and testing interventions, and develop and test new tools and approaches to inclusive recruitment of research students from underrepresented ethnic groups.

They will also be responsible for collaborating in the preparation of publications, representing SKOPE and presenting at external meetings, seminars and conferences, and act as a source of information and advice to other members of the group on methodologies or procedures and the substantive field of graduate access and widening participation.

This post is fixed-term for 12 months and is offered on a part-time basis (80% FTE).
