Project Delivery Assistant - Bury St. Edmunds, United Kingdom - Glasswell and Last Limited
Description
Due to the growth of the business and new contract awards we are looking to recruit a Project Delivery Assistant, the role will involve supporting the Design, Project Management and Project delivery teams in a number of day-to-day tasks.
Activities include:
- Preparation and Arranging of Goods in and Goods Out
- Assistance with Hiring, Off-Hire and Expediting Hire Equipment
- Ensuring a minimum stock of items such as PPE and consumables
- Expediting Materials from suppliers, communicating delivery statuses to site teams, managing returns and other issues.
- Diarising, scheduling and recalling equipment which requires periodic inspection and calibration.
- Stock taking activities
- Assist in providing technical and pricing information to design, project management and site teams
- Preparing and collating project documentation for handovers.
- Occasionally delivering materials to site.
- Other general administrative tasks required to support the team.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office particularly in using databases and spreadsheets
- Well organised, dependable
- Able to work independently and be a team player
- Good communication skills both verbal and written (English Language)
