- Reporting to the Country QHSEE Senior director, you will be responsible for ensuring the implementation of established GEA UK QHSEE management systems, primarily focused within our construction and installation projects groups. The role is based in our Warrington facility however travel throughout the UK on a regular basis will be required.
Your responsibilities and tasks:
- Effectively communicate and implement established QHSE Procedures within the defined business areas of the organisation.
- Provide and deliver effective HSE training and support throughout all levels of the organisation.
- Monitor the effectiveness of the management systems, via internal audits and inspections and provide regular reports and continual improvement plans accordingly.
- Support third party audit schedules relating to health, safety, environmental and energy requirements
- Conduct incident and near miss investigations to establish causations and preventative control measures.
- Develop and improve standard incident reduction programs
- Maintain defined and agreed internal audit schedules and provide reports
- Provide HSE support to the facility Service teams
- Participate in Country QHSEE Meetings
- Ensure effective communications and consultation with all Employees relating to QHSE are maintained
- Assisting the review and updates of the business Risk Assessment Procedures and Safe Systems of Work
- Support all Project QHSEE related enquiries throughout the organisation
- Support the current QHSHEE Team Objectives, Targets, and Initiatives
Your profile and qualifications:
- HSE experience (essential)
- NEBOSH General Certificate in Health and safety Management (essential)
- NEBOSH Certificate in Construction Health and Safety (Essential)
- Construction or Engineering Installation Experience (preferred)
- Sound knowledge and practical experience of applicable Health, Safety and Environmental legislation
- Experience in performing HSE inspections and audits
- Industry best practice, ISO and British Standards, preferably within the Integrated Facilities Management sector.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent skills in the use of Microsoft Office
- Planning and Organisation skills
- Information technology skills
- Being assertive, professional, friendly and approachable.
