We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with educators to support the educational and developmental needs of our students.

Duties:


  • Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
  • Provide oneonone support to students with special education needs
  • Support students with autism spectrum disorder in their learning and social interactions
  • Help create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies
  • Prepare materials and resources for lessons and activities
  • Provide assistance with daily tasks, such as toileting, feeding, and personal care for students with special needs

Requirements:


  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
  • Experience working with children with additional needs such as autism, ADHD and challenging behaviour
  • Knowledge of special education practices and strategies
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with students with diverse learning needs
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles and individual student needs
  • Certification or coursework in early childhood education or special education is a plus

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm


Salary:
£90.00-£100.00 per day
