Description

The Training Programme Director in NHS England North West will oversee the delivery of Psychotherapy during core training across the North West region.


The post holder will support the Head of School in the Strategic Development of the North West School of Psychiatry and contribute to supporting the School operational Programme.

The post holder will be a member of the School Board and lead the

Psychotherapy tutors group.

Work in collaboration with Head of School of Psychiatry and trust Psychotherapy tutors in the delivery of Core Psychotherapy training across the North West region

To provide expert advice on Core Psychotherapy training specific matters to the Scheme.

To oversee that delivery of Psychotherapy training during core training working alongside Local Psychotherapy tutors.

To chair the Psychotherapy tutors group.

To provide advice to ARCP panels on Core Psychotherapy training matters.

Contribute to the development and review of quality procedures in Core Psychotherapy training.

To promote or lead work programmes on behalf of the School of Psychiatry.

To create and promote shared learning opportunities to increase effective inter-professional working across the School.
