Job Title: Aerospace Lead Auditor (AS9100 & AS9110)
Job Type:Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Job Location:Field based - (Office
- Oldbury)
Travel:Required as part of role to visit Client sites

Salary: Competitive + Company car / allowance
As a Lead Auditor for SGS in Aerospace you'll be responsible for planning and conducting professional management system audits in accordance SGS' procedures to enable delivery of assessment and certification services that meet customer requirements and appropriate accreditation standards
As part of the role you will Conduct audits (desk-based or on client's sites) in accordance with established procedures, maintaining a high standard of service delivery that ensures effective customer relationships
Other aspects of the role include:
- Complete all chargeable work within the required budget and timeframes to ensure customer satisfaction and efficiency of the business
- Ensure completion of all assigned work and relevant documentation in accordance with required procedures and standards to fulfil customer expectations
- Provide accurate and timely reporting as required by line management to assist the planning and management of operations
- Enhance client satisfaction and ensure compliance with standards
- Undertake personal professional development and ensure appropriate training records and personal logs are updated to maintain relevant auditor registrations and relevant industry knowledge
- If required, to provide technical support and staff training to all parts of the business to enhance the service capability of the business
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you'll need (extensive and) recent experience;
- GCSE Mathematics & English Language, or equivalent
- Demonstrate strong working knowledge and experience of ISO9001 and AS9100 / AS9110
- Have a varied breadth of industry sector experience, ideally across the Aerospace industry
