About the role

Bedford Court is a high-quality registered care home that offers older people a relaxed, safe, and welcoming place to live.

We're now seeking an Assistant Chef / Chef de Partie to support our Catering Supervisor in the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen, ensuring our reputation for food quality is consistently maintained.

You'll use fresh, good quality ingredients which are locally sourced where possible, and plan, prepare and cook delicious nutritional meals for residents, staff, and members of the public.

About you
We're looking for someone who holds an appropriate catering qualification and who has previous relevant catering experience. You will hold a Level 2 Food Safety qualification and have working knowledge of Food Safety regulations.

Personable, friendly and a good communicator, you will be able to work as part of the team (as well as occasionally manage it) and understand financials and working to food cost budgets.
