Charnwood Borough Council in Leicestershire is an ambitious and dynamic organisation with a strong focus on supporting communities, looking after the environment, and creating a thriving economy.

As one of the largest shire district councils in the country based on population, we serve a diverse community of around 183,000 people.


We are customer focused, both internally and externally and are looking for the latest member of the Community and Wellbeing team to deliver our aims and values.


You will be joining us at an important time and will be part of a busy team that offer support for communities, residents, and the Voluntary and Community sector through our Charnwood Grants programmes alongside other support.


You will show your ability to work with a wide range of people, organisations and key partners and manage your workload to meet deadlines.


As part of the role, you will have the opportunity to carry out visits to successful applicants as follow up to their awards and report back on progress.
