Pure are currently recruiting a Payroll Manager on behalf of a well known brand based on the outskirts of Huntingdon.

Working alongside the HR and finance team this role will be tasked with looking at process improvement to reduce queries, and building on a small team to in time bring the weekly payroll back in house.

This role will be responsible for the monthly and weekly payroll and will manage a small team, the main duties are as follows

  • Coordinate timekeeping and payroll systems with a continued drive for improvement
  • Oversee processing of payroll changes and system upgrades
  • Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits
  • Resolve issues and answer payroll related queries
  • Effectively manage the payroll transactions for monthly payroll and in time weekly payroll.
  • Identify systems and process improvement to drive efficiencies across payroll.

You must have a in depth knowledge and experience of payroll calculation and processing, managerial experience is also essential in this role.

You must have the ability to identify improvement opportunities and drive change.
