Payroll Assistant - Interim

About Our Client:

You will be joining a global organisation who is currently undergoing an exciting change.


Duties Include:

  • Assisting with end to end payroll
  • Checking and processing timesheets
  • Ensuring all payroll information is up to date and correct
  • Issuing relevant documents such as Payslips, P45's, P60's and P11's
  • Processing payroll weekly and monthly
  • Resolving queries relating to payroll
  • Resolving discrepancies in payments
  • Calculating and processing SSP, SMPS and SPP
  • Processing new starters, leavers, holidays, maternity, paternity and sickness
  • Liaising with HMRC when needed
  • Assisting with Audit when required
  • Assisting with tax year submissions
  • Ad hoc duties

The Successful Applicant:


  • Have previous experience working within a payroll function essential
  • Be able to meet deadlines essential
  • Have strong attention to detail essential
  • Be proactive and have a positive attitude desirable
  • Be familiar with using payroll accounting software desirable
  • Be proficient in Microsoft office packages including excel essential
