Based in Hereford, Linthwaite Ltd t/a LMC are firmly established as a nationwide manufacturing and distribution business into the Plumbing and Building Industry.


Due to company growth and the increase of customer demands we are looking for an enthusiastic production operative to join a busy injection molding team and assist with packing duties.

Hours:
Rotating shifts of 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm/10pm-6am.


Pay:
£10.42


Key responsibilities:


Production:


  • To pack products in accordance with written or verbal instructions
  • Offer assistance to other Operators as time allows
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as instructed
  • Offer assistance to staff and participate in production line startups
  • Accurately record production output and scrap information

Quality:


  • Ensure that only good quality products are packed
  • Visually inspect extruded products for faults
  • Inform Lead Operator if there are any issues with the products
  • Ensure correct packing and labelling of finished goods
  • Continually monitor the quality of extruded products

Health & Safety:


  • Wear the required PPE at all times
  • Ensure workplace is kept in a safe state
  • Ensure any Hazards are isolated and reported appropriately
  • Do not take any risks, ask for assistance

Housekeeping:


  • Maintain cleanliness of your work areas at all times
  • Clear spills, waste, etc. immediately, do not allow to build up
  • Ensure any scrap is dealt with in the appropriate manner
  • Ensure that any waste is removed and dealt with appropriately

General:


  • Ensure good attendance and timekeeping is maintained
  • Ensure absences are reported in line with company policy
  • Demonstrates integrity in all aspects of work
  • Communicates with other members of staff
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and demanding environment
  • Embraces change and demonstrates desire to improve and develop
  • High ethics and values are required to be part of the team

Qualifications Required:


  • A good level of general education is desirable
  • An NVQ in Manufacturing Operations would be advantageous
