Purpose of Role
In this role, you will assist the Operations team by providing administrative support. You will organise documents, databases, and utilise organisational tools to keep the department running smoothing.

You will also provide excellent customer service to incoming calls to the department, working accurately, efficiency and paying attention to detail.

Core Responsibilities

  • Deliver a positive experience to our customers by providing excellent customer service, addressing any discrepancies raised by customers or colleagues through the switchboard
  • Stay uptodate on delivery schedules, and make sure colleagues and customers are aware of any changes
  • Maintain the Company database by inputting data accurately, making sure purchase orders and purchased goods are stored correctly
  • Be proactive in recognising challenges that may impact the delivery schedules, working with your manager to react appropriately and meet customer expectations
  • Review and manage documents and information transferred in and out of the department
  • Work with the team in a fastpaced environment to improve operational systems, processes and policies in support of VES' goals
  • Support other departments with their supplier relationships and performance
  • Maintain the company's Health and Safety policies
  • Be flexible with overtime where needed to support the department, as well as other reasonable requests made by your manager

Salary:
£20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year

  • Administrative: 1 year (preferred)
