My client deliver Advanced Technology. They are looking for somebody to join their commercial team to work with the legal team to manage supply chain and ensure export/import regulation compliance


Responsibilities will include:
Liaising with the Commercial directorate and assisting with onboarding of third party intermediaries and through life support to customers

Assistance in patent and trademark management liaising with external Patent agents

Assisting in drafting and negotiating supply chain agreements.

Completing contract summaries for new and existing contracts and maintaining contract registers and export registers.

Developing and maintaining relationships with both external and internal customers.

Attending and contributing towards internal and external meetings as required.

Assisting the CCO and Head of Commercial as required from time to time in day to day activities.

Preparing and negotiating NDAs

  • Broad contract law knowledge both in theory and practice
Demonstrable previous experience in a defence related industry

Prior exposure to Import/Export controls, UK ITAR, EAR, and customs.

Previous experience of and knowledge of contracting with MOD and or international defence agencies and public procurement rules

Excellent written and oral communication skills, good team player but with ability to manage workload independently

Good research skills with continuous improvement mindset.


Existing right to live and work in the UK and no known bar to obtaining appropriate UK security clearance as required.
