Welding Engineers has been in business since 1966 and is a major independent company specialising in the manufacture, installation, repair and maintenance of all types of Industrial Doors and Shutters, Steel Fabrication, Lift Gates and Shutters and Industrial Roofing.

We have branches in Uddingston, Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and Hertford.


We are currently recruiting Time Served Fabricators for our Uddingston branch to work on a variety of private and public sector contracts we have in place throughout Scotland.


You will also be expected to complete essential written documentation such as work sheets, service sheets, as well as follow Risk and Method Statements, attend site inductions, tool box talks and training courses relevant to your role.


Requirements include:


  • SVQ Level 3 minimum
  • Minimum 5 years' experience
  • Ability to work on your own as well as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate with customers at all levels
  • Driving licence essential
