Are you a strong Administrator looking for your next challenge?


We are looking to recruit a Pensions Tax Administrator to work within a fast paced team who's main role is the preparation of pension calculations at the start and end of the tax year with the resulting calculations being used to determine if the growth in pension exceeded the Annual Allowance (AA) limit.

Full training is provided on the calculations and systems used and you will be buddies up with a member of the current team while you do your initial training

Once you're and up and running you'll work autonomously but with the knowledge that there is always support should you need it


The role is full time, 37.5 hours, Monday - Friday in our Glasgow office, we operate a 'superflexy' work pattern.


What you'll be doing:


  • Calculations of other HMRC reportable events requiring detailed calculations
  • Calculate, process and award members of the Armed Forces where either an AA or Lifetime Allowance charge is/has been paid by the member
  • Learn the procedures and understand parameters of producing a quality output
  • Process work to the defined level of quality

What you'll bring:


  • Excellent IT skills including Excel
  • Good level of English and Maths
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work in a team or other structured environment.
  • Articulate and able to maintain good relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Excellent communicator

It would be great if you had:

  • A background in finance would be an advantageous but not required

Salary £22,145 including 3% flex fund
