Our Bakkavor site in Highbridge, which is one of our four Desserts sites in the UK, specialises in Cheesecake and Tarts, working closely with our sister site in Devizes that specialise in baked goods.

Day to day duties will be:

Collecting trial documentation, supporting in the preparation and running of internal trial review & taste panels.
Collecting & retaining of trial samples in line with the business requirements.
Regular monitoring and controlling of stock levels, ordering when stocks are low or close to 'end of life'.
Awareness of upcoming customer visits, paperwork preparation, assisting in collecting samples and setting up product reviews.
Awareness of compliance requirements, monitoring of process and factory areas.
Operating in a safe working manner and supporting the site/business on continues improvement relating to Health, Safety and Environment.

About you

Ideally you will have some experience within a food manufacturing environment as a Production Operative, QC or as an NPD Assistant that shows drive and enthusiasm for the Process Function.

You will have the ability to manage and prioritise workload - able to work at pace, show a level of resilience and adapt to changes in the working day.

You will have a good attention to detail, be able to prepare paperwork in a timely manner and show good communication and organisational skills.
