ENGINEERING / MAINTENANCE TEAM LEADER
- £45,000 - £50,000 per annum DOE

  • Full time, permanent role
  • 4 week continental shift pattern consisting of days and nights, 12 hour shifts 8am8pm / 8pm8am

My client, innovators in food development, producing millions of chilled and frozen products a year, are seeking to employ an experienced and passionate Engineering / Maintenance Team Leader to join the Engineering team on a permanent basis.

You will be responsiblefor the daily supervision and management of 2 Maintenance Engineers and will take a hands on in your approach to all tasks and supervision.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and review the Maintenance plans to include PPM, breakdown repairs and work order completion.
  • Coordinate and facilitate mechanical and electrical planned maintenance tasks in line with current and new schedules
  • Plan and organise follow up work created from planned maintenance checks.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of training plans for Maintenance Department.
  • Attend to electrical and mechanical and plant breakdowns.
  • Identify spare part requirements.
  • To ensure their own health, safety and welfare and the safety of all other persons who may be affected by their activities.
  • Liaise with Contractors, Suppliers, site supervision, Engineers and Maintenance Engineering Manager.
  • Time served apprenticeship or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical discipline essential
  • Experience within a similar roles essential
  • Experience managing or supervising a team desirable but not essential
  • Excellent time management
  • Selfmotivated to ensure all work is carried out to agreed time scales
